Tutu Information

Size: Bust: 33-34", Waist: 26-27", Hips: 35-36.5"

The tutu without any of the panels attached was made using two patterns from "Tutus that Dance" in Size C:
Skirt: Pattern #2301 Classical Tutu : http://www.tutusthatdance.com/node/6
Bodice: Pattern #2104 : http://www.tutusthatdance.com/node/5

The basic tutu consists of a 10 layer pancake skirt with basque and panty (the panty has a crotch with snaps at the bottom, sewn to a bodice with clear elastic adjustable shoulder straps. The bodice has two stiff bones sewn into the front center and two removable bones into the front bust seams. In addition, the skirt has a hoop inserted into one of the layers which can be adjusted if the skirt is angled too low.

To this basic tutu, detachable panels were constructed so that the basic tutu could be easily steamed for exhibition, storage, or wearing. The panels attach to the basic tutu via snaps. There are a total of five panels, plus an optional clear elastic belt - please see Tutu Assembly and subsequent posts for photos and more details about the panels.
